Description

CDK2AP2, also known as DOC-1R and p14, belongs to the CDK2AP family. CDK2-associated protein is thought to negatively regulate CDK2 activity by sequestering monomeric CDK2, and targeting CDK2 for proteolysis. CDK2AP2 is a regulator for self-renewal of mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs) under permissive conditions, and cell survival during differentiation of the mESCs into terminally differentiated cell types. CDK2AP2 may be involved in the regulation of self-renewal of stem cells during early embryogenesis. Recombinant human CDK2AP2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques
